Founded in 2007 by Litchfield native Susie Pregno, West Shore Seafood was founded with a simple operating principle: to provide the freshest, gourmet quality seafood in a relaxed Cape Cod style environment.
Susie moved to Boston in 1996 and worked around the Boston Fish Pier where she met Dianna Shannon, owner of Snug Harbor Fish Company located in Duxbury, MA. Working for Snug, she gained a wealth of knowledge along with a drive and commitment to share that with her friends and family back home. And so began West Shore Seafood, located in the familiar spot formerly occupied by the "Ban-Mor Restaurant" as long ago as the 1950s.
West Shore started out as a tiny kitchen in a small portion of their building serving a handful of outdoor tables with just a few staff members. In ten years time, we have expanded into the entire building and are really excited to begin the 2018 season in our newly remodeled space. Same quality, same atmosphere but with just a little more elbow room and a few new faces.
